Even though I know most of these concepts already and some of them are very basic, I decided to go ahead and get “certified” in my ramp up time at work, making sure I thoroughly know the basics before moving to advanced concepts.
It’s also a great refresher to jog your memory of how some things are actually done properly and remembering the best practices using Google’s guidelines.
Therefore, I completed the “Google Analytics for Beginners” course via Analytics Academy. Check out my certificate!
Google Analytics for Beginners shows new users how to create an account, implement tracking code, and set up data filters. You’ll learn how to navigate the Google Analytics interface and reports, and set up dashboards and shortcuts. The course will also demonstrate how to analyse basic Audience, Acquisition, and Behaviour reports, and set up goals and campaign tracking.
